Cube U9GT2 1GB RAM 16GB 9.7inch IPS Screen 1024*768 1.2GHz ICS 4.0 Dual Camera

In the absense of finding the Onda Vi40, I’ve been getting pushed towards the Cube U9GT2, available for USD 260 from Merimobiles. Its all metal and glass, just as the Onda Vi40 – but overall performance is said to be slightly better. Also, ColonelZap prefers the Cube, and he is my tablet compass in this confusing world.

To get into download mode. Power off the Cube, press volum down (-), hook up the USB cable to the computer. Keep the volume button down until the question about drivers has popped up on the computer. (The drivers are included in the zipfile that you downloaded). Once there, and you launch the update program, you should see a green light.
Recovery mode: Press (and hold) volume down (-), and then press (and hold) the power button until the tablet boots. Then release the power button – keep the volume down button press until you get the ! character on the screen. Once there, release the volume button, then press power and volume up (+) and volume down (-) at the same time.
